We've equipped these fighters with communications computers that will simulate a real Kilrathi pilot. When you touch base at your Nav points, the computer simulation will begin transmitting and will contact any capital ships to request certain information. Once the computer's acquired the data then get out of there fast. We don't know how long these computers can deceive the Kilrathi. We think there are several capital ships maneuvering through your Nav 1. You'll fly to that Nav point, transmit to the capital ships, and then get the hell out of there.

Notes
The Dralthi are a nightmare. Your first time in this flimsy fighter and you're faced with 19 fighters and 2 carriers. You'll be fine as long as you remember you don't have to fight. Just afterburn past the wings between Nav points. When you reach Nav 1, afterburn in, target each Snakeir, then afterburn home. Of course you can try to take out everything if you really want to.

Stay alert when you're flying this course---you'll probably run into Kilrathi patrols. If they realize you're Confed and attack, then you should defend yourself. Otherwise, don't blow your cover. Go to Nav 1, and your comm computer will automatically begin to intercept the comm data. Then return via Nav 2.

Notes
Another session in the Flying Pancakes. Fortunately this time the enemy forces aren't quite so overwhelming so you just need flying skill here. The Rapiers are unexpected, but a missile or two will soon sort them out.

There are no surprises in this mission, just take out the enemies however you prefer. The biggest challenge is defending the Claw so that is the best place to use your missiles.

Launch and cruise to your Nav One. That's where you'll probably find the first enemy troopship. Whatever you do, make sure it doesn't mini-jump. If it does, track it to the next Nav point and destroy it. Check the asteroid field at your Nav 2, then return home.

Notes
Ten Salthis is a lot to take on at Nav 1, but since they aren't your main objective you can always just run away to Nav 2. At Nav 2 you'll need to fight for a bit since one Dorkir only arrives after a while, but the Dralthi shouldn't be much of a threat anyway. Once you've taken out the Dorkirs, handle the fighters in the asteroid field, hit the Nav point, then head home.

Notes
Although it would be nice if you could take out the Grathas and the Ralari, don't feel you have to. When you arrive at Nav 1, two Krants will be after you, the other two will be after the Drayman so take them out first. All of the Salthi usually go after you so hopefully you won't have to worry about the Drayman when you get to that point. Unfortunately you can't just run past the Salthi because that would leave the Drayman behind.

Notes
There's a huge number of enemies in this one and you need to destroy every one. Fortunately none of the wings come in completely overwhelming numbers but you won't have enough missiles to last all the way. At least you're flying a Rapier for this one.

Comments : Who said Origin didnīt make the "Maniac Missions"? What about flying Pancakes and Hornets against whole Kilrathi fleets? If you donīt want just to run, try luring some Kilrathi away so youīll face less fighters at a time.

Comments : Strange. I flew this one several times, always only 1 Salthi at Nav 1 for me...
This mission is easier than it seems at first, so don't be frightened cause of the huge number of enemy ships ;)

Comments : The Kilrathi Saga version of this mission has less fighters. Only 1 Salthi, and 2 Krant. And, if you don't kill the Drakhai and let them escape, the 2nd wave doesn't come.

Comments : Note that fighters which retreat from the initial tangle at the Claw (there may be several if you go after the Drakhai first) will show up when you come in to land. (This always happens when you revisit a nav point, but it doesn't usually come up)

Comments : actually, in my run, if I let even one ship escape me, i go to charon, so to go on the winning path of the game, I had to visit all the nave points again, to finish the job on the guys that escaped me, including the 2nd wave of khriss at nav one (coming after salthi). The biggest problem for me was running out of fuel, even more than missiles, becouse without it, you're sitting duck.
