Notes

  • There are a couple of heavy capships here so fly something strong like an Excalibur. The mission throws a new Heavy Destroyer at you right at the start. Take out the fighters first. If you can get right behind the destroyer and close enough, the turrets can't get you so you can just fire away until it dies. Just be sure to be out of range of the explosion.
  • Corvettes and Dralthi at Nav 2. You should be used to handling them by now. The Excalibur's autoaim will also help if you chose to fly the Excalibur, however it will hinder your ability to aim at turrets.
  • You have to face a carrier and three waves of fighters at Nav 3, however if you can take out the carrier earlier, you won't have to face any waves which haven't launched yet.

    Notes

  • There are a large number of fighters in this mission, but it is not particularly special. You don't have to take out the tanks, just watch their fire while you try to handle everything else.
  • If you fire a missile at an Ekapshi, don't fire it while facing the ground. If the missile misses, it may not be able to turn around before it hits the ground.

  • Seven waves of fighters. You don't get a break to recharge your shields, they just keep coming. Fortunately there are only two or three ships in each wave.
  • Since you already know how to handle everything here, take a ship which you are most comfortable with, although by now you'll probably want to fly the Excalibur all the time.

  • Since at this point in the game your wingmen can die, choose a reliable wingman for this mission. They have trouble dealing with the cruiser at Nav 3, so just send whoever you choose home at that point
  • Other than that detail, it is just a simple kill anything which shoots at you mission.

    Comments : You can turn off autotracking in Excalibur by pressing Ctrl+A. Your ability to shoot at turrets will not be hindered.
