Carol Spragg makes it sound worse than it really is
Top ranking members of the Hermes Military Institute stood on trial this morning, charged with mass murder and crimes against the environment. The reason? It seems that the Institute boffins had developed a new chemical agent which they immorally decided to test on the general populace. The substance, known as Derrider, deconstructs organic matter into its constituents water, carbon and sodium. Fortunately the outbreak has been contained, but not before 500,000 innocent citizens had perished horribly. On a lighter note, Fresh Water prices have dropped considerably.
