Mission Briefing
Due to the loss of the convoy transports, the Midway is dangerously short of needed supplies to continue its offensive into T'lan Meth. Fortunately, a second group of transports has left the main convoy and is moving toward our position at top speed. In order to ensure that this convoy arrives safely at the Midway, we will stage a diversionary attack in an attempt to draw off any heavy enemy forces. We have reason to believe that there is a large enemy vessel in this vicinity. Your Alpha Wing will be making a sweep of this route, with the intent of locating this starship and making a preliminary attack on its turret defenses. When the enemy's defenses are sufficiently weakened, complete your sweep and return to the Midway.
