LIEUTENANT COLONEL GASH DEKKER: Well? What'd you find?

COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: Tolwyn... It was him all along.

LIEUTENANT COLONEL GASH DEKKER: Son of a... I knew it! You had him, too. You should have put a bullet in his head when you had the chance.

CHIEF TECH ROBERT "PLIERS" SYKES: Hey Blair, you know that weird disk gizmo I found on that ship? Well, I finally figured it out, though I still find it kinda hard to believe.

COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: At this point, Pliers, you'd do best to believe anything.

CHIEF TECH ROBERT "PLIERS" SYKES: Well, that baby packs a helluva punch. You can take out a capital ship, or a building, maybe even an entire installation with that thing. And what's really incredible, it does it from the inside out. Sounds crazy, don't it?

COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: Not to me.. I've seen them in action. They're called 'Flash-Paks'.

CHIEF TECH ROBERT "PLIERS" SYKES: Well, how'd...?

COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: How many do we have?

CHIEF TECH ROBERT "PLIERS" SYKES: Just the one, but I could rig up a few more in a week or so.

COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: There's no time for that now.

control bay - dekker, pliers -n1ÿÿ Dekker's clearly been waiting for Blair.

dekker What'd you find?

blair Tolwyn... (beat) It's been him ... all along.

dekker looks hard at blair.

dekker You had him in your hands...

Blair takes out the data chip Dr. brody gave him. slots it in a terminal...

A series of blueprints and wire-frame diagrams scroll past.

The first set reveal that the bioweapons have been dubbed "GEN-SELECT DEVICES" and have been approved for testing by "ADMIRAL GEOFFREY TOLWYN."

The second set of drawings are of the strange disks which Blair now learns are called "FLASH-PAKS" and that they have been approved for full use by "ADMIRAL GEOFFREY TOLWYN."

the playback continues, but blair's not really seeing it... he's seeing something else...

dekker You could have put a bullet in his head. (beat) You could have stopped him.

the two of them glare at each other. then dekker leaves.

Blair's about to leave when he runs into Pliers hurrying to the launch deck.

pliers You know that weird disk gizmo I found on that ship? Finally figured it out -- though I still find it kinda hard to believe.

Blair (nods knowingly) At this point, Pliers, you'd do best to believe anything.

Pliers This baby packs a helluva punch. You can take out a capital ship, a building, maybe an entire installation, with this thing. And what's really incredible ... it does it from the inside out. Sounds crazy, don't it?

blair No. I've seen 'em at work. (beat) They're called 'Flash-Paks'.

pliers (surprised) How'd you--?

Blair (standing) How many do we have?

Pliers Just the one. I could rig up a few in a week or so--

Blair (leaving) No time for that, Pliers.

and he's gone...
