COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: Can I direct you somewhere, Lieutenant?

2ND LIEUTENANT TROY "CATSCRATCH" CARTER: Just shipped in, sir. Second Lieutenant Troy Carter. Callsign: Catscratch.

COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: Now, you didn't just graduate from the Academy, did you?

2ND LIEUTENANT TROY "CATSCRATCH" CARTER: First in my class, sir. I just wish there were still some Kilrathi around.

COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: I think you're a little late on that score.

MAJOR TODD "MANIAC" MARSHALL: Hey, Colonel Blair, I gotta ask you a question.

2ND LIEUTENANT TROY "CATSCRATCH" CARTER: Oh my god! You're him.

COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: 'Fraid so.

2ND LIEUTENANT TROY "CATSCRATCH" CARTER: I can't believe my luck! Getting assigned to the same ship you're on. Oh man, wait 'til they hear about this back home!

MAJOR TODD "MANIAC" MARSHALL: Jeez, this kid lays it on thick, huh? Talk to you later, Colonel.

COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: Is that true, Catscratch? Are you doing a number on me?

2ND LIEUTENANT TROY "CATSCRATCH" CARTER: Oh no, sir! I've been dreaming of a chance like this. The stuff I could learn from you, sir -- the stories you must have.
