COLONEL JACOB "HAWK" MANLEY: What? Oh. I'm awake.

COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: Yeah, sure you are.

COLONEL JACOB "HAWK" MANLEY: Well, it's just that the last couple of days I haven't had much of a chance to sleep.

COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: Yeah, well, nobody has. But you ought to try the hold.

COLONEL JACOB "HAWK" MANLEY: Oh, no...no... Eisen tells me Confed pulled you out of retirement. What's it like being back?

COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: Well, you know, back in the cockpit with the enemy in my sights, everything's crystal clear.

COLONEL JACOB "HAWK" MANLEY: Yeah. Until the recent trouble, I almost missed the Kilrathi. Didn't you enjoy blastin' cats?

c.i.c. - Hawk (optional) -e2 Hawk's got his feet up on a control panel and appears to be napping. Blair taps him on the foot.

Hawk (waking) What--?--I'm--awake.

Blair (chuckles) Sure you are.

Hawk It's just I haven't had much chance to sleep in the last few days.

Blair Nobody has. You should try the hold.

Hawk cringes and waves that idea off.

Hawk Eisen tells me Confed pulled you out of retirement. What's it like? Being back?

Blair In the cockpit? With an enemy in my sights? Everything's crystal clear.

Hawk (nodding) Yeah. Until the recent troubles started, I almost missed the Kilrathi. Didn't you enjoy blastin' cats?
