CAG: Lieutenant Casey, we now know why the Cats refused to help us out there.

CASEY: Sir?

WILFORD: Mr. Casey. We just intercepted a Cat communique. Do you deny that you and Hawk attacked a wing of their pilots?

CASEY/B>: No, sir.

WILFORD: Well, thanks to your bloodlust we are now alone in this. Why? WHY? We're under attack! If I didn't need every available pilot, I would throw you out an airlock! Now get to your ship, Mister! I'll deal with you later.

They walk towards him--he backs up into the console.

CAPTAIN
Mr. Casey. We intercepted a Cat
communique. Do you deny you and
Hawk attacked a wing of their
pilots?
CASEY
(swallows hard)
No, sir.

The Captain clenches his fist We've never seen him so angry.

CAPTAIN
Of all the stupid,
Pointless...thanks to your
bloodlust we're alone in th s.
Why? WHY?

The Captain controls himself with an effort but is interrupted
by a SCRAMBLE ALARM! Casey's eyes dart around the room. ND
TECHS and pilots scramble through the doors and on deck.

CAPTAIN (CONT.)
We're under attack!
(He leans into Casey
hard)
If I didn't need every available
pilot, I'd push you through an
airlock. Get to your ship, Mister,
deal with you later.

Casey cets past the Captain and goes up the canaway. They watch
him go up.

A Wing Commander Prophecy First Draft Script dated December 18, 1996 has been provided by Billy Cain.

INT. MIDWAY FLIGHT DECK AT DECONTAM CHUTE

Casey joins Maestro, Stiletto, Zero, and other pilots by the chute. Then a
stern-faced Captain and CAG step up.

CAG
Lieutenant Casey; we now know why the
Kats refused to help us out there.
CASEY
Sir?
CAPTAIN
(flaring)
Don't try to look innocent, mister. We
intercepted a Kat communique. Do you
deny you and Hawk assassinated a wing
of their pilots?

All eyes are on Casey. He swallows.

CASEY
No, sir.

The Captain clenches his fists. We have never seen him so angry.

CAPTAIN
Of all the stupid, pointless... thanks
to your bloodlust we're alone in this
war. Can you guess how many lives that
will cost? Damn you, sir... damn you to
hell.

He controls himself with an effort but is interupted by a SCRAMBLE ALARM!
