STILETTO: Did you hear? Hawk was flying recon and got jumped by two squadrons of bad guys.

CASEY: Any chance he ejected?

STILETTO: His ship broke up. SAR never even picked up any homing signals from an eject pod. He's not coming back. Sorry, I didn't realize you two were that close.

CASEY: Yeah, we had the same teacher.

MAESTRO: Yeah, she's sorry. C'mon.

stats, they head for decontam. Stiletto joins them.

STILETTO

She brushes between Casey and Maestro to check her stats.

CASEY
(to himself)

Casey and Maestro exit.

A Wing Commander Prophecy First Draft Script dated December 18, 1996 has been provided by Billy Cain.

INT. MIDWAY FLIGHT DECK AT DECONTAM CHUTE

Maestro approaches Casey as he stows his helmet.

MAESTRO
Did you hear? Hawk was flying recon;
got jammed by two squadrons of bad
guys.
(beat)
He's not coming back.
(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:

Casey is clearly shocked. This surprises Maestro.

MAESTRO
I didn't know you guys were that close.
CASEY
I guess I didn't know, either. Until
now.

Maestro pats Casey on the shoulder as we END SCENE.
