George Sanger, aka "The Fatman," has noticed a problem with the copy of Wing One available on Vibedeck: two of the tracks were corrupted. He has corrected the error on the site and sent the following e-mail (plus links to download the music) to everyone who has purchased the album:
Sorry for contacting you directly, it's me, George Sanger, the Fat Man, I wrote much of the Wing Commander music.
You purchased "Wing One: Music from Wing Commander 1" through Vibedeck and PayPal, and I got your email address from the PayPal receipt.
It only recently came to my attention that two of the tracks on Wing One" were broken and didn't download. Hopefully, this was a recent glitch and didn't happen to you, but just in case, I'm sending out this apology (with ammends) to everybody who bought the download. Don't worry it's not such a big job--only 23 people!!! LOL (and I fixed the glitch on the website just this morning)
But to you 23:
HERE is a link to the two missing tunes (Soundtrax Logo and Fanfare) link removed
Let me know if you have any troubles from here, and THANKS for your purchase.
(...and thanks for spreading the word! )
Respectfully, humbly, thankfully,
George A. Sanger
The Fat Man
The worst news, however, is that only 23 people have purchased the Wing Commander album through Vibedeck! Wing One includes all the music from Wing Commander I played with a Roland MT-32 for just $9.98. Get your copy today!
