Spring Update for Das Erwachen
There's been several updates to the Das Erwachen series recently. Deacan reports that Book 3 of his Privateer 2-based fan fiction storyline is coming along well (teaser available here). Simultaneously, progress has been made on a Das Erwachen Traveler's Guide reference book that provides backstory and general information on the series. This will be completely released as a PDF when finished. Last, but not least, the winner of his Book 2 contest has been announced. Congratulations to KnThrak2006 for his winning German entry here. To inquire about picking up a copy of Book 2 yourself, check out the instructions below. The printing cost is approximately 16 Euros.

Making the Game - Part 30
Here's an interesting update on the document from yesterday - it adds a list of characters, a basic plot synopsis, a list of sets and some 'reasoning' for the development of the game. Check out the story at this point -- the main character is rookie "Tom Dane", Blair is the Academy commandant, Maestro is tortured by the aliens and there's a bartender character named Roberts!
