Wing Commander Movie Sountrack Available for Digital Download! Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Update ID

There's yet another reason for Wing Commander fans to celebrate this week! The Wing Commander Movie's Original Motion Picture Soundtrack has stealth launched on many of the major digital services. Whether it's good cross-marketing with the Blu-ray, a happy coincidence or something that's gone unnoticed for months isn't quite clear. Some of the stores denote a January 29, 2013 release date, so it's possible that these have been online almost the entire year.

Prices are approximately $10 or 10 Euros with Amazon slightly cheaper, iTunes in the middle and Google Play on the higher end. Tracks are also available for purchase separately for about a dollar/Euro/pound. In addition to this convenient new way to listen to some Wing Commander tunes, there's also new cover art, which is somewhat similar to the original DVD cover or theatrical poster. You can see the physical CD's darker album box here or buy the album at some of the stores listed below!

On the other end of the Wing Commander Spectrum, the Fat Man's rerelease of classic WC1 music is still available at Vibedeck. These files will sound just like game being played on the higher end Roland MT-32, so original Sound Blaster owners are especially prime customers for this. For just $9.99, you can get 27 classic tracks. Earlier this year, Fat Man noticed that two of the tracks had some corruption issues, and the version available there now is all fixed.
