The Tiamat is around 3000km long, so it's not exactly "about twice the size". And I think the 14 Massers, 6 missile turrets the BFG, and the shit load of fighters it has doesn't make it undergunned.Originally posted by Mekt-Hakkikt
It is about twice the size of the Midway and carries half of her weaponry. OK, she has the big Plasma Cannon, but she was destroyed without firing it once.

So what is the difference to the Kilrathi?Originally posted by Bandit LOAF
I don't think anybody really claimed that the Nephilim had particularly devestating technology -- I mean, they made short work of some scientists, religious freaks, defeated Kilrathi and recon Excaliburs... but one on one a Nephilim fighter is no match for what the Confederation has to offer. It is their ability to throw huge numbers of ships into combat that makes them scary...
What? It's armor around the engine and bridge is 3200, the hangar is 2500, and it has additional shield emitters that make the ship indestructible untill they are taken out.Originally posted by Mekt-Hakkikt
It does not even have strong armour compared to the Plunkett class Cruiser.
What was it supposed to fire it at? Some fighter wings? The Tiamat was destroyed before firing one shot of its plasma weapons.
