Question about the bombing of Confed HQ

I don't have my copy of Fleet Action with me, and I need the info for a story I'm working on. Does anyone remember the details of the bombing that occurred on Earth just before the armistice broke down? Like, when did it happen in relation to the armistice officially being broken off, the...

    Wing Commander Academy: The Series

I loved it. The storylines were fairly mature, and they kept with the character personalities that had been developed in the games. By far, the coolest bit was how they got the actors from the actual games to voice their characters.

    confed elections

If 2634 was a presidential election year, then by extrapolating an election every four years after that, 2668 was not a Presidential election year. It may have been a legislative election year, but since we don't know the date of the founding of the Confederation (or do we?) we can't tell.

Whoa! Been a while. Heh, sorry about teasing about starting this story again a long time ago. This time though, I've actually wrote another chunk! Yay! Hopefully this will move along the plot somewhat. Thanks for the positive feedback those of you who read and posted. I'm going to try to keep...

    confed elections

Does anyone know anything about the Confed election cycle? I mean, their government seems pretty much to be America in Space, as in seperate executive and legeslative branches. At least, that's what I gathered from Fleet Action. The big thing I'm wondering about is, does anyone know if the...

Hello again. I stopped writing this a while ago because I didn't think there was much interest in fanfic at the time. However, I've got the writing bug again and I remembered this story. I'd imagine there are a few new people on here, as well as old friends, so if anyone wants to read the...

Apparently there isn't nearly as much interest in this concept as I'd hoped, judging from the lack of replies and the low read count (the stupid "the kilrathi war" thread has more reads than I do). Therefore, I am going to cease posting new additions to the story. I'll continue working on it in...

    Prophecy Secret Ops

Way back when it first came out, I went out right away and bought Prophecy Gold just to get Secret Ops. I had no idea it was ever online until I came here a few weeks ago.

Part IV continued. 1301 Club Halo was one of the newer establishments in the DC area. At one o’clock in the afternoon there were few people there, but both the detectives could see traces of what it must have looked like after dark. Lots of neon colors decorated the place, with modern...

All right, we move on to Part IV. This is the largest part so far, and will take more than one post to cover. More information is revealed as the investigation continues, and the story gets a little exciting at the end of this part. Also, we see our first familiar Wing Commander character. She...

    That's why I was asking. I wasn't sure.

    WC Bible

Yeah, but there's other stuff too. Like that long narrative from some pilot named "LaFong" but you can tell it's supposed to be Blair. In the timeline when it talks about the destruction of Kilrah, it says that Vaquero participated in the mission, when it was in fact Vagabond, and the only one...

    WC Bible

Are we to consider the newly available WC Bible canon? The reason I ask is because I've noticed a few details that contradict the novels, and later games. Also, it says that only 12 million some humans died in the entire war. For a conflict that lasted 35 years, I find that number slightly low...

    Yay Birthday Day!

I just want to say thank sto all the Admins and Mods for putting together the birthday celebrations. It must have taken a lot of time and effort, and they all deserve our gratitude.

    Kilrathi motivations

I don't think you can project Marx onto an alien race. To do so would be to grossly misunderstand a completely alien culture.

    Kilrathi motivations

Personally I like the word "presently". What relevance does that have to the present topic? None whatsoever. But yeah, I didn't mean to suggest all Kilrathi are hedonistic. Rather, I think most of them are rather observant when it comes to the honor thing, but just like in all feudalistic...

    Kilrathi motivations

It wouldn't surprise me. Thrakath is pretty damn power-hungry. I'm sure all the nobles have vast estates they use as hunting grounds. Kilrathi sexuality is only vaguely alluded to, though like human monarchical, clan-based cultures I'm sure the nobles can afford to have tons of women, while the...

    Kilrathi motivations

I think Kilrathi motivation lies in their origins as a predatory species. Fleet Action goes into this in some detail, as I recall. They have a lot of natural aggression, which for most of their history they took out on each other. Then when the Hari arrived and the Kilrathi achieved space...

Part III arriveth. As always, comments and feedback encouraged. 1430 Beckett pounded on the door, but there was no answer. “Here it is, I’ve got it,” said the security chief, tapping the screen of a PDA. “The apartment was rented about two weeks ago by a Ms. Jennifer Burstedt. She paid a...

    Hobbes & Blair exchange

Yes, only when Thrakath says it. And yes, when the worm attacks the Victory's systems is when Hobbes finds out his true identity. If you go back and watch that scene again, as soon as Thrakath says "Heart of the Tiger", Hobbes looks like he just had a stroke. He freezes, and his eyes go wide. I...
