My problem is similar to yours but mine is a bit worse, it locks up on all planets. Even before there is a landing movie, the game locks up, showing huge messed up dos messages that cant be read. Another problem also in the 2nd and 3rd CD, the game will occasionally crash during flight...

I'm having problems also. Whenever I play on the 2nd or 3rd disc it crashes whenever I try to make a landing on any planet. The 1st disc is just fine, but I know for a fact somethings wrong with my config.sys and autoexec.bat files because this happened a few years ago, do you guys know this...

Hmm, maybe they should make a WC pirate game...probably the only ships you can fly with are the old Talons, razors, maybe some Arrows and Thunderbolts. Then pit them against Vampires and Panthers occasionally:)

Ok I tried it but I'm not too sure on what you meant when you change the axis around but here is what my setting showed, I did not calibrate it like you said: Again, note the joystick was not calibrated...I left it the way it is. Joy 1 Joy Dead 0.062500 Joy cx 518 Joy cy 481 Joy lx 516...

How can I add fan-made ships to the WCPedit program? I already downloaded alot of .iff ship files and put them in a folder called "ships", but they wont appear on the list, is there any way to make them added on? Or do I have to copy it onto a existing ship for a current mission, if so then how...

WC Armada didnt have any part in the WC universe I think but the Gladius is still IMO one of the few of the best ships I flew in all the WC games that I played. I really cant handle the Banshee or a Goran, I feel like a sitting duck in those things. And the Korlarh?....gun range is crap...

I fly the Gladius mainly to go head to head w/ other fighters when playing against the hardest AI level whenever its armada or campaign mode, but certainly not all the time since I dont want to fight through 30 ships, and 2 vs 2 fighter duels are way too slow.

For those of you who played it.....which ship did you feel comfortable flying in? Mine was the Gladius, great shield, armor, speed, 3 types of guns delivering good damage at good long range. The only thing that was lacking was only one HS missle and rest were dumbfires and a torpedo. IMO...
