ORIGIN SYSTEMS

This is a replacment INSTALL.EXE for Wing Commander I. It is designed to allow you to turn off the hardware-sensing features of the original INSTALL. EXE.

To install the new file, simply make a backup copy of Disk One. Next, copy the INSTALL.EXE from this ZIP file onto the backup copy of Disk One. This will overwrite the old INSTALL.EXE. Next, run the install program again from your A: or B: prompt. Use the following command:

INSTALL -a <enter>

Then proceed with the on-screen installation instructions.
