Wing Commander 3, 4 and Prophecy producer Mark Day stopped by #Wingnut to say 'hello' the other night and mentioned he had listed a few of his old Wing Commander books on ebay. In the past he has graciously donated his most precious Wing Commander possessions to fans, but a few items remain that he's ready to part with.

You can find his copy of End Run, Heart of the Tiger, two Fleet Actions and a WC4 Official Guide here.

That's Not A Fralthi Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Update ID

John Douglass is a creative guy with a passion for building original space ship models. Bob recently found that one of his old designs was based upon a Wing Commander 1 Fralthi. He called it the Sobol. I can see a little resemblance, but the final ship Mr. Douglass has made is rather unique.
I scratch-build a half-dozen or so spaceships every year, displaying them at Wonderfest and Scalefest and selling them in the Worldcon Art Show, this year Noreascon4. The first Wing Commander game had a Fralthi Cruiser that was arrowhead-shaped, with a notched-nose, a raised aft-neck that led to a large engine module and two huge downward-swept wings. That was the precursor to this ship.
You can find all his designs here.
