WC4 official guide

Well, at the rate I've been spending time here lately, my eyes are going to go quicker than a 24-hr computer programmer.

Yeah, the disorder knows how old you are... actually, the syndrome (Stickler's Syndrome) is a lot like rapid aging of the connective tissue... but after a certain point, everything reaches a parity.

Hehehe... scary fact: there are lots of people who look *exactly like me*... I have a "stickler face"... I need to scan some pictures from a book I have on the syndrome...

What non-sense? People aren't actually complaining about a specific guide... they're just complaining about the fact that if a guide were that way they'd be able to complain...

Sorry to interrupt, but with "non-sense" I meant printing sth in a manual which is just plain wrong compared to the real game, like in the Armada. So I asked if the manual was perhaps printed before the last game changes were made.

We were talking about the guides earlier, not the manuals (G)

And yeah, the manuals are printed before the games -- the lag time became more and more after '94, hence differences in specifications. By Prophecy in 97, they dropped the idea of having specifications in the manual itself because they would be too different (it takes time to translate and print the manuals). Even then, there was confusion -- the Null-G bomblets.

I have the WC4 Strat Guide. I like it, because it has cool color pictures!:) Other than that, the only really useful thing is the decision chart.

I suppose if you really want to know how many shots it takes to kill a banshee. Me, I just fly in guns blazing, and hope I don't get killed.:)

I like to have clear stats about everything. I really hate such stats as in the WC4 manual ("High mass", aha does that mean 20t, 30t ?) they are just useless. I also got furious when I saw the WCP Gold manual which said : Cerberus: Mass: N/A .
Sorry LOAF, I was misguided by the word "non-sense" and thought you were referring to my post where I asked why they post such non-sense.

There's always hope! I'm blind in one eye now, but have good vision in the other... it's all because of a genetic disorder, so I could definately have problems in the future (although the chances of that go way down after I'm 27, apparently...).

Don't worry LOAF... Genetic Engineering is making giant steps to new advances... (ever heard of the GE project? ;))

As a matter of fact, I'm probably going to Genetics grad studies in three years, if my Grade Point Average is high enough, so if you're patient, *I* might come along to save your eye... ;)

Of course, it's also possible that I end up in Scotland cloning sheep, but keep hope LOAF!
