Fantastic music update

Ok on what i read so far a cadet isn't supposed to post anything or i am blamed to be insulting, arrogant and unfriendly.
That's not what i wanted to be and sorry if i called the music update rather hmm bad! I just wnated to give you a better music experience!
And then i had the idea: recording the crisp sounding midi files with a yamaha synth and i the music was much better clearer and you actually heared the wc tune's!
Now you didn't tell me at all what you think of them you don't even talk about the files no you discuss about george O. and i spend a whole evening on getting these files to you!!
I just wanted to do something for the wc-community but now i am disappointed!

Now, as for why we're not discussing your files. It is a well-documented fact that chatzone conversations never stick with their original topic. Come to think of it, it is a well-documented fact that no conversation anywhere ever sticks with its original topic. People always go off on different tangents. Sometimes, I'm surprised that we don't hear lawyers in the courtroom going, "Oh, speaking of arson, did I tell you what my cat did yesterday? No? Well, you see..."
It may seem annoying at first, but I'm afraid you're just gonna have to get used to it.

Well, by definition, any time you say that something is really bad, (or really good), your opinion is controversial. In this case, you stated that an item that apparently everybody else likes was really, really crap - and you don't think that saying this would raise a few eyebrows?

Hey, Loaf, I know this is a stretch, but are you willing to trade for a copy of the Oldziey CD?
I've got movie score bootlegs up the butt...and somewhere around my PC I've got the music from the climax WC4 (Tolwyn's speech, his trial and Blair lifting off) on MP3 somewhere's
, I'll find it for ya. Wait, you CIC peeps have that huh? I have some other one's kickin around, I'll have ta check...
Anyway, with the exception of Wing Commander and a 2CD Tomorrow Never Dies Score, I've got every damned David Arnold score ever made. Um...'An a bunch of others.

I think their quality is not bad at all, and I upload more music constantly (well, sort of...)
I haven`t been able to d/l anything from your links, it keeps telling me I can`t, and I`m running out of patience.
Zor, I think I have that mp3. In fact I have several other WC4 cutscene themes, that you may not have after all. I`ll upload them to the url mentioned above in the next couple days.
LOAF, I`d be interested in the demo reacordings by Oldziey, as well, if it`s possible.
I emailed him a few months ago after I came across his website. He had 2 WC3 and WC4 demo themes(opening themes IIRC), and I asked him if there would be any more. He told me he wanted to do a complete soundtrack, but that EA wouldn`t let him. Anyway, he hasn`t updated his site since, but I don`t check up on the site that often.

Yes, that is the sort of thing I do, but I`ve also done some editing as you may recall. my only gripe about the music in the music section, is the fact that no one took the time to edit these tracks and even give them a decent fadeout.
They just play, get to the end, loop to the beginning, start playing again and stop after 5 seconds.
You won`t find this in my music.
Plus, if you`re the one who does the actual ripping of the music into WAV files, encoding them at 128 or 192 kbps will make them sound better than encoding them at 32 or 64 kbps.
if you just decode them and then rencode them, there won`t be any difference.

LOAF, I'll email you with my snail mail. I looked around my house, thinkin I might have a lil WC trinket that I could exchange cuz I feel bad, you bein so nice an all but I can't find anything and I sure as heck ain't given you my copy of End Run! (No offense) ^_^
As for posting the WC4 climax music? Um, go on to Napster and start looking for Wing Commander. Thats where I got it. Some guy named "Ultramind" or somethins is on there every bloody night and you have to FIGHT for the files. You have to sit there and hit FORCE TRANSFER for 30 minutes to get the damned file, even the lil shitty ones like "Blair and Tolwyn Prepare for War" which is a minute and a half. Freakin jerk.
If worse comes to worse, I'll just have ta fly in there with my trusty "lead sled" and torpedo his sorry butt.
