Court marshal

Fenris Ulven

Spaceman
i played that rescu mission were you have to save flint. i thought people was put in front of a court marshal if they took a plane and left?

yes i know that, but did she just disobey the order to return to the ship or did she take a ship and went on a pesonal war.

Its pretty stupid to just take a ship and leave, maybe they cant risk loosing more pilots, but after the war they can risk to loose some pilots.

I think if the desperation of the war effort wasn't as dire as it was, the situation regarding Flint's actions would have been much different, which I think is reflected in the decision Blair has to make when they get back. It kinda goes without saying that they needed all the able pilots they could get, and even grounding would result in one-less fighter out there, at least for a little while.

Also.. she's pretty cute. How can you stay mad at that face. :)

Fairly easily, especially if rescuing her meant we lost our own chance at escape, or we lost a pilot due to an ambush while trying to bring her back in. :D

Cute or not, this is war. And behavior like that can get you shot.

I think she was pretty stupid to go by herself in a Longbow, but hey, at least you get to take down a lot of fighters together in that mission, so the crazy ride accomplished something.

Hey, what can I say? I'm a softie :D

And obviously not a commanding officer!

yes, you are obviously not a commanding officer.
And a longbow alone  , if im not remeber wrong arent she a Thud pilot?

It's a game, people, the reason you can ground her or not ground her is because it really doesn't matter...it means you can be "god" and due whatever you like.

a marshal Court in the lead of tolwyn :D may a concluded that she did sabotage for the klirathi empire. good ol'tlowyn

it would have been very ironical for flint :p

Even if you did ground Flint after that mission, doesn't Eisen interceed a mission or two later and tell Blair that they need all the pilots they can get?

Hey, there's lots of free porn on the internet, you know...

IIRC, Flint went out on a regular mission and decided not to return to the Victory, and go out on a seek-destroy trip. The search for her surely taxes the endurance of even the Thud, luckily we can run away on the capship.

I always like Flint better than Rachael. I think Flint could kick Rachael's ass. But, suddenly, in the midst of fighting, they fall into some mud . . .

And, for completing the task he set out to do, not only got way promoted, but he also got nookie. Now that's MY kind of insubordination!
