Tarawa was a CVE. Which is a modified transport. It carried Rapiers, Ferrets, and Sabres(yeah!). In End Run, at some point during the end run, Jason is notified that they have lost 11 of their fighters, and he says that that is 25% of their fighters. So, that would mean that they carry 44...

Standard bomber, more than likely. Sorta like the B-17s of WWII.

what is that s'posed to mean, Rampage? The Essex-class served for many years as an excellent carrier! They paved the road the Nimitz-class now walk on! (P.S. I wasn't being sarcastic about the Charles de Gualles...) I will have to admit that the Wasp class was just built wrong. tsk, tsk...

Actually, Vesuvius has 440 fighters. Also, my question wasn't "Vesuvius vs. Midway. who whould win?" It was "which is better, or your favorite?"

Am I mistaken, or did the Rapiers in the Wing Commander Movie have mass drivers? I know in the game that they have 2 laser cannons and 2 neutron guns, but in the movie, they had that gattling gun on the front and then ImRecs, I think. No Neutrons or Lasers.

....the WC games that play with CD-ROM and Windows instead of DOS? Do they make these? I thought they did......but wasn't sure.

Tarawa and Concordia are probably the best. By Concordia I mean the Fleet Carrier class, not the battleship, which was also very cool.

Which is better? I would have to say TCS Vesuvius, with twice as many fighers. But, TCS Midway is bigger, isn't it?

On the Concordia and other carriers, do the fighters land in the same bay that they take off from, or is there another landing zone somewhere else.
