Yeah, I usally fire all I got when I come into a strait run with another ship, they usally don't last that long. Also, to help my accuracy, I press "I" to bring up al ittle target thing that helps you hit the enemy better.

Well, in RF, the most obvious choice for weapons would be four Fusion Cannons. 'Cause the take very little energy and they are strong.

I get three Tachyons and of course the Steltek gun. I never use the back turrent though.

Actually, I liked fighting in asteroids in Privateer because when you go full speed the enemies run into the asteroids. Especially the Kilrathi. If your a good pilot you have the advantage. Although, if you suck at flying, you're done.

I've noticed in P1 that when you get a lot of money you get attacked more frequently by pirates. Is this true or is it just my imagination?

First, I head for Oxford, then I sell my jump drive and buy an afterburner and some other stuff. Then I do like 3 patrol missions in one run in the Oxford system because there's only 3 nav points. You get about 15000 each run. Then I save up on a repair droid. Saves a lot of money. Then I get...

I always thought the missions in WC1 and 2 with the asteroids wer very hard, because the game would run really really fast, even when I used moslow. I must of been using it wrong or something.

Yeah, the same thing happens to me. Although it doesn't really make much of a difference, I still want it to work correctly. Johnl12, Do you or anybody else know how to fix it?

Gee, I don't know. When I try it with it copied to the hard drive, it runs great, but, oh well. You can try with the CD. It doesn't really matter.
