New Constantinople is a star system in the Potter Quadrant of the Gemini Sector featuring Edom, an agricultural planet, and New Constantinople, the Sector Capitol.

The New Constantinople system has served as the Confederation's Sector capital since the initial colonization of Gemini. At a crossroads with direct jump lines to the Clarke and Humboldt Quadrants (including direct links to the Junction and New Detroit systems), it was a logical choice to place the Capitol. New Constantinople Station was a major population center with representatives of every major industry in Gemini. The military and local militia forces maintained a very high level of representation near New Constantinople Station itself, both to protect the base and to limit the amount of contraband traffic within the system.

After the destruction of Perry Naval Base during the Nephilim War, New Constantinople Station was abandoned and scuttled. By 2700, a new Sector capital had been established at New New Constantinople Station, located at the same position as the original Capitol station.
