The MCOS is the military’s heaviest carrier ship. Because of their status, military carriers are often the target of pirate groups – the CIS Whatley recently fell to one such operation. Notable Veldors include the CIS Zarkowsky, the CIS Patriot, the CIS Kaitlin, the CIS Katreed and the CIS Stryker. The Veldor is not related to the pirate fighter of the same name.
