Even though the DivX-compressed videos released for the CIC's 12th birthday are a lot less heavily compressed than Queeg's movie cut, you can see in instances like these where there are still quite noticeable compression artefacts - the only advantage here is the increased colour depth. It is unfortunate, too, that the red channel suffers the most in JPEG/MPEG-based compression. What I'd like to do is get a hold of a copy of the PlayStation version and extract the movies myself, to see if there is any improvement - eliminate the second round of compression introduced for Internet distribution (the first round being at the production level and impossible to work around without a copy of the original videos recorded by Origin). - Wedge
