Plutonium is a commonly traded commodity in the Gemini sector. It is usually sold on mining bases and its trading price ranges from 951 to 1199 credits per unit in 2669, and 901 to 1224 credits about a year later.
Plutonium is the main fueling ingredient for most jump engines in TCN fleets. It sounds like plutonium is the actuel fuel, but it could be some sort of resource for construction as well or instead.
Veratek, with its 7.2 kilos of plutonium per cubic kilometer, would have supplied the armed forces with raw materials for a decade. |
