About	This young red-head suddenly found himself the most senior officer on the BWS Intrepid when its bridge and crew quarters were destroyed. When William Eisen was given command of the carrier, he appointed Garibaldi as his First Officer, promptly promoting the man to Lt. Commander. Captain Eisen doesn't like his First Officers too junior. After Captain Eisen left and Christopher Blair was given command of the ship by Admiral Daniel Wilford, he stayed on as First Officer, helping Christopher Blair settle into his first carrier command. Both Eisen and Blair found Garibaldi to be very efficient -- a little too efficient even. He wrote Captain Eisen's after-action reports in his name, until the Captain insisted on signing every report for approval. Christopher Blair copied that behaviour from him. Garibaldi's hard work paid off after the Confederation - Border Worlds conflict was resolved: he was a given command of the Intrepid.
