i meant that their technique wasnt exactly state of the art 27th century technology for anyone not looking any deeper than what they can see in the movie.
the submarine thing probably came from the use of torpedos and they way it played almost like a submarine movie batteries are running low sir fire torpedos on my mark
But lots of things carry torpedos... especially destroyers... saying that the Tiger's Claw is a submarine because it carries torpedoes is like saying that something is a platypus because it has fur.
But come on, LOAF... Even CR himself said he wanted it to feel like a sub movie, I believe he said that he was after the same feeling as in "Das Boot"...
By the way, the USS Nautilus, the first nuclear sub in the world had the identification number 571... U-571
