UE easter egg

Yes, that was from Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells album.

It's an album that I would recommend for absolutely everyone, though some consider Tubular Bells II to be even better. The name of the album, BTW, is derived from the instrument that Michael mentioned.

Ok a hint... theres a trigger that changes one of the simulator missions
Changes? What happens to the original mission then?

Sorry to continue being off topic... but tubular bells is also a name for a percussion instrument, commonly known as chimes
I knew that. Any General MIDI sequencer should know that. :)

Oh, it's not a complete change - it's just that halfway through the sim mission in question, something unusual happens.

Can you guys be any more vague on what you're supposed to do for that egg or what... :( I am pushing buttons all over the sim, in the sim etc. no rapier ship appears anywhere.

Oh the suspence! What, do you fight the dang thing, or do you have to escort it somehwere? (Note: These are sarcastic, rhetorical questions :) ).

By the time he had a chance to reply, it was much too late for that. You can only edit your post within a certain amount of time after posting.

I won't be able to try it myself, but the way Q keep saying "groovy", it might be something to do with a cheat which has the "groovy" sound effect when it is switched on. Just a guess.

I only said it once :p. Mind you, while there is a connection between the word and the easter egg in question, the cheat you mention is not it.

Filler had already said that it had to do with the Sim.......

I think he also said that it has to do with a mission..(not a sim mission).

Maybe that mission is the trigger and activates smth in the sim :)
