I didn't actually read the guys article, so I've probably missed something, but if he wrote about his memories about WC, I don't see why you complain him not doing enough research...

He didn't, though - he's just latching onto something someone here said. The entire article is 'and then Origin did this and then Chris Roberts did this' - names, dates, events.
