Of course we, well... at least, I picked up on the quote, Q, but I assume it was so obvious no one could be bothered to reply. 
As for LOAF's rhetorical quote, I always felt Blair was only responding to Maniac the way he understood - he was ribbing him for trusting Hobbes, after all. Still, I felt it was out of character for Blair, I'd prefer the scene where Blair just ignores Maniac, but that lowers his morale.
