BW Banshee, or Confed Banshee? Confed Banshee is a bomber. And besides the Arrow, the Dralthi, and the Gladius in Privateer, why don't we see Armada ships outside of Armada?

Because WC3 and 4 were ported to Mac -- so they couldn't have the Armada ships, since they'd already appeared in SWC. :)

Missions that I would use a Banshee for:
-bomber escort
-interception/point defence
-recon
-patrol/CAP

Do u think

Do you think the Border Worlds Milita used the same Technology and ships in the Kilrathi war as they did the Conflict with confed.

Because if so: I'm thinking about Seting my fan-fiction around the same as Wing Commander 3 but instead of focusing on Confed like most Kilrathi war era fics do.I wanna tell a story from border worlders view.

They didn't *exist* during the Kilrathi war. :) The Border Worlds Union was formed when it declared independence from Confed in WC4...

But i remember Towyln saying in the wc4 intro that the border worlders were loyal allies in the kilrathi war. And the Border world fleet is called a Milita until after Towlyn's interview. Then it's called a Union.

Yeah...that always had me confused....

Catscratch was a 4th generation Border Worlder...and Vagabond mentioned how much they helped during the Kilrathi War. But then in the news it makes it sound like they are brand new....

Were they semi-autonomous or something during the Kilrathi War? It didn't seem like people who just happened to be from the Border Worlds faught in the war, but the Border Worlds themsevles. Vagabond says something like they were valueable allies during the war....I wouldn't call Texas an ally of the US in a war....

And then WCP era, are the Border Worlds still around, or have they been reassimilated into Confed? How would Hawk, Blair, Maniac, and Dekker have been able to be in Confed service? Did the Border Worlds just drop it's militia and rely on Confed for protection?

Someone can be a fourth generation border worlder in that his family has lived in the border worlds for four generations... it was a region before it was a completely seperate political unit. Even if it hadn't been considered a region (which it had) I consider people who were in Canada before Confederation Canadians. I'm sure Americans refer to people in the US before the declaration of independance as Americans (unless they were evil, in which case they're British :) )

The Border Worlds, though they acted as part of the Confederation during the war and were assumed to be part of it, never signed the articles of Confederation. Those that argued against their autonomy felt that, because they had fought as part of the confederation during the war, used confederation services and settled from confederation worlds they were, in fact, members of the confederation. Many others did not agree with this stance, and felt that without signing the articles they were not part of the Confederation and had every right to govern themselves.

The Border Worlds were still a seperate government circa Prophecy, as they can be seen on the included map.

Well...I should read WC4 Novel again to fresh up on some stuff...I gotta think of another idea since the Border Worlders were a part of Confed during the war.

So then was the militia dropped, or were Maniac, Dekker, Hawk and Blair all on some "exchange" thing?

No one knows for sure. ConFleet does seenm to be in charge of the Defending the Border Worlds reigon in WC:p, but whether the Border Worlds have a military of their own isn't mentioned. Hawk might imply there was when he said "I should have stayed in the BW- at least we knew who the enemy was", but that's a bit thin to draw conclusions on.

Ok I have decide to what to write about here is the jest:

In the year 2674,The Kilrathi Imperium under the leadership of Emperor Ragark are engaged in a Vegeance War with Confed & the Border Wordls and recently the cats have been tightly guarding the Avalon Sector from the Terrans.Confed orders Gen.Slate and Col.O'Donnel of Covert Ops to report to the TCS Valhalla to investigate the situation in Avalon Sector.

So Far The Characters:
Emperor Ukar dai Ragark-Leader of the Imperium
General Steven"Hero"Slate-C.O. of the TCS Valhalla
Colonel Chris"Bandit"O'Donnel-WC of the TCS Valhalla.

So what do you think?

But there is no Kilrathi Empire in 2681 (WCP era), so your things will contradict the things in WCP, of course i´m no one to say how you must write your story, and fan-fics are famous for contradict/make weirds things.

Well...I never even played WCP So how would i know that.Guess it's back to the drawing board.I just make a Few Changes to make stay within the timeline.

Ehh, and the Avalon Sector is on the far side of *Confed* space... it'd be pretty darned odd for there to be Kilrathi there.

Yeah i wanted the Avalon Sector because of that reason.Like the way they used the Hari Sector in Fleet Action. But give me another day and I'll come up with something.

But it's the *opposite* of the Hari Sector... it's deep in colonized *Confed* space. It's the industrial heart of Confed, the portion untouched by war...

Does anyone what the Status of the Landriech sector is in WC3/4 and does anyone have a Map of the sector?

LOAF made a map of it at some point...i'm sure someone has it somewhere...

Anyway, the Landreich is a real rival to Confed. They actually have a real military (and we would have seen a war between the Landreich and Confed had the books kept going...)

Towards the end of the Kilrathi War, the Landreich effectively saved Confed's ass at the Battle of Terra.
