Evil Fan Wciv Reviews!!!!!

But the missile boat has more.....Missiles, you can play only with missiles, they can carry 40 Adv. Missile, and that is good !

ah, but i can send all the beam weapon power to the engines!!! making the TD permanently faster. it needs no boost.

I can do the same, all to laser and boost, not permanently, but you don't need too much speed if you have almost all the Missiles that you can use fire !

I love the Tie Defender.

Apart from his ugliness (IMO) what was a negative
aspect about the TIE Defender? It's easy to love him even with this face. :)
Though I had some problems with a ship with only 1 laser cannon, especially because charging the shields with just the energy of one weapon took quite long.

You know, when I turn my decoy beam on in my TIE Defender, your 40 advanced missiles are worth next to nothing. :p

(Just for the record: I like the missile boat, I just had some problems with it and definately prefer a TIE Defender)

Want to have Xwing Vs Tie Fighter !! :D
be careful... i still can fire my 40 missiles under your beam.
BOOM
Kitty-litter !!

You will be disappointed, no Missile Boat or Tie Defender in XvT. Though they re-appear in XW:Alliance I believe.

My point is: Under my decoy beam, you can't achieve a lock with your missiles rendering them almost useless.

Yes, since it has a real story, better garphics and more ships to fly and to battle. :)

Though "Balance of power" was quite cool as an add-on.

I can't comment too much on XvT since I only had the demo CD with the dozen or so levels on it. Balance of Power always had a cool box, and I remember my friend Jordan screaming glory over some mission where you have to destroy a Super-Star Destroyer in drydock.

I love the X-Wing Alliance, cool missions and cool story, but the last mission inside the DSII was a hell !

Well, in XvT you only had multiplayer missions with no connection between those missions, no story.

In "Balance of power" you had a campaign which you could fight for either the rebels or the imperials with some neat cutscenes, more ships and improved graphics. And all that for just about 12$. :)
