Dumb Question - Rachel and WCP

I know Europe's far... but you must have heard people speak French in your life... ;):D
 
Well, OK, so I did have a clue after all. I was born in Europe anyway, not that mainland Europeans would want to count Britain as Europe. :) Not to mention the fact that virtually my whole family (plus aunts/uncles, etc) speaks Creole...
 
Well if I'm not mistaken, Creole is the language of Martinique right?

And Martinique is a French DOM-TOM... :)
(TOM = Territoire d'Outre-Mer...)
 
AFAIK, creole is really just a mixture of different languages, often spoken by the descendants of colonists. I think there are several creole languages, the one my family speaks is a dialect of broken French, with African elements, but primarily French.

I think I figured out what Loaf meant: I wrote that "Pickelhaube" is the French nickname for the Germans. And Loaf turned it into that disgusting <g> joke.
