I think right now thru a lot of the posts there is some confusion about what happens to what pilots at the end of a wc game...
i haven't played secret missions of wc1 or whatever it is or wc2 and its extras...so i'm gonna start with what i know and hope that anybody else fills in the gaps

***there are some spoilers here!!!

Wc1
Paladdin - survives (now a senator)
Iceman - dies (chopped up into little pieces)
Angel - survives (but dies at beg of wc3)
Maniac - survives (still around in wcp)
Spirit, Knight, Hunter, and anyone esle i am forgetting all dies because as far as i know it, the only pilots that survived teh destruction of the claw was blair, maniac, angel and paladdin

wc2
maniac, angel, hobbes, blair survive

wc3
flash - dies (on run to kilrah)
flint - dies (on run to kilrah)
cobra - dies (hobbes)
vaquero - dies (?)
hobbes - dies (blair)
vagabond - survives (in wc4)
maniac - survives (ejects at kilrah)
eisen - survives(in wc4)
rollins - ?
rachel - survives
blair - survives

wc4
(dealing with the main characters that blair interacts with...i don't think that pilots such as primate or excell etc are that important to deal with or are even main characters)
Eisen - ? i suppose he survives
sosa - ? i suppose she survives
pliers - ? i suppose he survives
hawk - survies (in wcp)
panther - survives (?)
catscratch - UNKNOWN
dekker - survives (in wcp)
tolwyn - dies
blair - survives

wcp
hawk - dies

and that's about it...i was trying to follow a
character - status - reason but i don't think i did...

Neither Spirit, nor Hunter were killed on the Claw, in fact, Hunter wasn't even on board of the Claw when she was destroyed. Spirit died when she rammed a Kilrathi star base in WC2, and Hunter was killed during the false peace. Additionally, Paladin wasn't on the Claw when she was destroyed. Also, Bossman was killed in SM1.

He didn't die on the run to Kilrah. He was killed after Thrak sent the message with the *trigger*.

You're missing one person from WCP I think. I can't remember his callsign. He was the one that got really nervous during one of the cut scenes then dies a mission or two later.
 
No Kain, Eisen didn't become a ship, he had a ship named after him...

Second, while it's obvious that Eisen is dead (otherwise they wouldn't name a ship after him), we're never told how he died. He might have died of natural death, or he might have been killed in action AFAWK.

vagabond -dies in the comm station or get KIA if you stay in the lexington.
By the way I send my wingman of if I know if they going to get killed besides in WC III I stayed with flint and get the "going home in a beat out 3rd generation suttle" with her so how can she die?

like i said, i didn't know it THAT well...
 
well...dont' u get sick of telling ppl that so and so died and how?

isn't it better to get it right now and not having to bother about it later?

(for some time although, because more new ppl come and don't exactly know and won't see this post)
 
well I still dont get it, since chosing Rachel you lost Flint as a wingman and she is not avaible to the run to kilrah?
and how Flash died? I remenber having him on the run to kilrah mission as a wingman.
And if you after Hobbes vaquero gets killed.(WC III)
 
most of these deaths come about coz of the novels that are out...in the novel flash dies when thrakhath pulls the trigger
most of the game is correct, but u must remember that u can keep certain pilots alive (eg. not going after hobbes after he kills cobra you keep him alive)
its not quite as wc1 and sm1 and sm2 where u can carry on ur pilots
