First off I think its funny that my birthday is the day after the CIC's. Although I am like 12 years older. Anyway- I got a gift certificate to amazon.com, and I am thinking of getting a bunch of WC books. So I just wanted to know what you guys think are the books I should get. I have read End Run, WC3, and Fleet Action, so those are out. Thanks ahead of time

Get Freedom Flight, it's the first of the series...

False Colors is also a great read...

Yes, is located in an alterane universe with other race of cats....pussycats

what a cheap joke, i´m ashamed :)

Like hell you are!

Hobbie:
all Novels are well worth reading, Action Stations was the first WC book i've read, and it's a great book to start with, (since it's about the beginning of the Terran - Kilrathi war, and shows a very interesting, young Luitenant Tolwyn)

then you should (try to) read the movie novels (Movie novilasation and Pilgrim Stars) also very nice books, wich show how the movie was supposed to go and the continuation of it.

then there's Freedom Flight, a very great book and Ian "Hunter" St. john, on the Tigers claw.

i wich i could tell you more, but this is all i've read so far;)
anyway, all are great, and well worth reading.

And how did you get a hold of END RUN!?!?

hope this helps you

Well, I read it when it first came out, but lost the book. Then I downloaded it about a month ago and read it. You should try that, the person who transcribed it did an excellent job (sorry to whomever did it, I momentarily forgot your name  ).

The books might well be out there and worth reading - however not everyone here lives in the US... hence, for some of it it costs the same of more inshipping as the actual cost of the book! ... which as you can imagine, kinda sucks for us.

uhm... i don't live in the US, yet i have half of all the books ever printed.
Not living int the US isn't a very good excuse given the fact that you have to pay $2,00 extra shipping.

also.
i forgot to mention the handbooks, and guides and stuff (WCP guide, WCM Guide etc).
also preped, promed, loaded, locked and full of cool background info and facts

I'm not complaining, but Europe is a pretty good market for WC merchandise, is it not? I have never laid my eyes on a real WC book in my life.

what's your location wedge?

but you're right, i'm in Holland and i bought most of my WC books in Amsterdam. (thoug that was a specialised store, named "The AMERICAN Book Center")

i only bought 2 or 3 books books online.
i bought most of the games online though, including WCKS.

and i'm still waiting on a Pilgrim Cross, LOAF was supposed to send me, but that was half a year ago...Lost in the mail a gesss.

/me goes for another excuse... fine, I can't afford to buy all five or however many books there are, especially not at the moment (or even months ago).
None of the local libraries have them either :(
