Atmosphere capable?

Ghost in from Argentina, LOAF...

And I really don't see the problem with more than one question mark... it adds the "what the the hell are you talking about" or the "I really don't see what you mean" idea to the sentence...
It simply reinforces the question...

And whether you like it or not, I've seen hundreds of American comic books use more than one question mark, to express precisely the feeling I described, so it's not something specific to non-English languages...

Yes, well, there's little more cringe-inducing than petitioners who write things like "Oh, pretty, pretty please!!!!!!!...!!!!!" You get the idea.

What's a "Braziliac" ???????????????

Oh man, now I've done it...

C'mon LOAF, this is worth an A- !

Must have been a Marvel book.

This thread is chock-full of potential quotes...I'd save it to disk if my stoo-pid web browser'd allow it. :(

Braziliacs are especially guilty!

Hey, most people I know don't go around using multiple question marks after a single question... And having lived here in Brazil my whole life, I can tell you that I know more brazilians than the average person ;)

If your taste is not good enough to appreciate the numerous masterpieces like those done by Barks, Don Rosa, Disney himself, and the load of Italian artists working for Disney(which I will not list because admins would complain about bandwidth space), then I feel sad for you... :)

Who the hell is Jack Kirby? (sorry, I'm not American)

http://evanier.com/Jack Kirby.htm

Okay, now I know a bit more...

Three words for you, LeHah: expand your horizons.

One can be very fond of Spawn and Spider-Man, and the same time admire the creative genius of Carl Barks, Keno Don Rosa, or Romano Scarpa...

Well, we come from different schools of art apparently. I have an appriciation for some of Disney's animation stuff, but they began to fall apart in the late 60s. Don Bluth was right to leave (though he himself rarely makes a good animated movie these days. Titan AE? Ouch.) Also check out Jim Steranko's work from the mid to late 1970s.

YOu dont know who Jack Kirby is and you tell ME i dont know what I'm talking about?! (See, one ? and a !) Jack Kirby is the father of modern comics. He and Stan Lee created the Fantastic Four, The X-men, the Hulk, Thor, and a ton of other mainstay characters.

Oh I know Stan Lee... since last year, when I moved to Montreal, I've become more interested in the "Marvel" type comics (superheroes etc)...

But I still think Barks was a genius nonetheless...
In fact, I put him on the same level as Stan Lee (and sorry if this is shocking some of you guys :) )...

Ah yes, Rosa...I have some of the early works, done in the early 50s...man, those were ome classics, especially in their days I'd bet (I'm not quite old enough to remember them ;))

All Marvel pre-1980s contains incredible cosmic knowledge.

The 1980s had commercialismm but had a few moments. Early 1990s had a newer vision with new people (McFarlane, Larson, Lee, etc) and then Marvel pretty much fell in the shitter after that. They refuse to give artist's creator ownership of characters. I don't read new Marvel anymore, not for a few years.
