Can somebody tell me where i can download new missions for SO ? I´ve got the german and the english versions , but i want to play some more...There are at least 56 missions..The Alien Legacy and Rebellion missions i found at a fan page....Any help would be great..:)

Well...What Sound-Card do you have ? SB Live aren´t compatible.Check out www.creative.com for the latest drivers.

I´m not familiar with the GF 4 , maybe this patch https://www.wcnews.com/files.shtml can help you. It´s a vodoo2 patch.Have you already checked out the files at wcnews ?

What are your system specifications ? If you have XP set the compatibility mode at Win 98.

Didn´t you read the other posts about WCP ? Just disable the sound acceleration in DXDIAG. After that the movies will play fine....I hope so...:)

Hello there.....Need some help with VDMSOUND and WC 2.First time i installed WC 2 on my system ( XP ) i couldnt hear the FX/Speech.Then after i installed the VDM-Drivers some music and effects played.But now i had to reinstall WC 2 and no sound etc... is playing. Anyone suggestions ?

As i posted it in your other thread...Enable Win95 compatibility-mode . At properties you set the EMS & XMS at max.This is all.I guess..Oh , use:http://vdmsound.sourceforge.net/files/VDMSLaunchPad.v1.0.0.7.zip to hear sound/music..

Try enabling Win95 compatibility-mode at WC2.At Properties you set the EMS & XMS at max.So the expanded mem. is fully used and you can hear the dig.speech and FX.You can use VDMSOUND to hear the music / FX. Just install and execute. Download it here...

Well..I got the same problem in XP.You got the problem only with the FX or the music too ?In my case the music plays fine but the FX wont play..This has something to do with the soundcard settings i guess... I´ve tried different settings but i dont get it to run..But like Starkey said...Next...

Anyway, I don't suppose you've tried setting Win95 compatibility mode? And leave expanded memory on. I did it that way and the message box showed,that EMS is fully used.But i still have no sound.Maybe i should install WC2 on my FAT32 partition and use VDMSOUND.Think this will work.Thanks....
