Doctor Jacob Hildreth had acted as co-ordinating production engineer on the Cerberus project. He later goes on to examine the alien invasion.
He concludes in his report that the Nephilim could have several reasons:
1. The Nephilim had assumed that the Kilrathi would be the primary offensive force and had not expected the strength of the Confederation's response.
2. The Nephilim sought to distract the Confederation with a two-pronged attack (Kilrah and Sol sectors).
3. Both Nephilim incursions are part of a massive 'scout' force.
4. The Nephilim have a goal other than invasion with forces sent in only to distract and eliminate possible interference. |
