The TCS Iason was the Confederation ship which was the first to encounter the Kilrathi on 2629.105. Commander Jedora Andropolos transmitted a non-verbal greeting to the then unidentified ship, but after 20 minutes with no response, the unknown ship opened fire destroying the Iason and all hands.
