can't deny the truth, the menu scrollings suck, and X2 takes forever to get into, X3 fixes that like i said with a selection of various off persona's to choose from that could slam u into a fully loaded fighter or a large freight hauler.
hell follow the main story in X3 and your first few missions are combat right from the get go.
Like alot of games with bad learning curves though, get past the menus and learn the ins and outs, and the game can go places, the story.... waste of time, yes, but it yer not stuck to it.
worst thing is, i think they seem to have plans to move X3 to XBox 360.....
scary.... since it doesn't even work well on most PC's, their still patching the GFX settings to be less CPU/GPU instense
