What happened to the WC Secret Ops???

Limited release. You can still get the first episode, but I think the others here will say that you can only get SO with WCP Gold now. Anything else is piracy.

SO is horrible,all you should know is that at the end the Confeds have their own wormhole.. i don't think they know how to use it yet.

The online fiction was great. The virus was a great new dimension that would have been really cool to expand on in later games..
 
The virus was a good idea. I'm just interested in how ORIGIN would have found a way to mix fighting a disease with flying. Unless there was a resurgence by the Nephilim or Kilrathi, we'd just end up escorting medical transports forever. And there's the ever popular patrol...

Then there was that virus in the mirrors of the main download. I felt that added a whole new dimension to the download, and should be expanded on in later internet distribution schemes.

The default fiction is still at secretops.com, but the one with paswords, which gave you different fiction depending on how you did during your missions, is gone.

SECRET OPS is 112.64MB, and you can only get the main package now, the first 5 missions that now serve as a demo of Prophecy Gold.

It's an odd thing for me then... I was able to download Secret Ops and all the episodes from secretops.com a few months ago. I've since gotten WCPG, so I don't need to download it, but I just thought someone would like to know.

The episodes have been gone on secretops.com for almost 2 years now. They were removed when Prophecy Gold came. Since October 31, 1998 the only legal way to aquire WC Secret Ops is buying WCPG.
 
We will not tolerate any information about obtaining the episodes illegally - no matter how cryptic the information is, Black Joker.
