This is in the third piece. Just out of curiousity, are they referring to the war with the Kilrathi or the Nephilim conflict from Prophecy?

That's the first Nephilim incursion's death toll, as per the SO fiction. The Kilrathi War killed billions of Confederation and Border Worlds citizens over thirty years of war.

similar to the german-russian ratios in WW2....except of a few magnitudes more....kats seemed a lot like the russians sometimes by throwing wave after wave without thinking about lives lost..
