Anyway, was looking up setup instructions to run Priv2 again, and in true internet fashion, wondered off into looking up something about Privateer.

Ended up here Grayson Burrows WCPedia

and thought, 'Burrows is doing well, by the year 2700 he's still a mercenary and a wanted man ... for a 450 yo man that is.

In 2269/2270, the Steltek gun was stolen by Mordecai Jones, the new leader of the Church of Man. He was killed by Burrows near the uncharted planet of Eden and the gun was recovered.

By the year 2700, Burrows is still active as a mercenary and a wanted man. He still possesses the Steltek gun he recovered from the derelict Steltek base.

hehe, the 2200 dates are a typo introduced a while back by one the people that edited that article. I guess the rest that checked it over since then didn't catch that.

Yeah Characters are another category that needs to be gone through heavily for corrections. All of the list to do....but thanks for noticing and pointing out the mistake!

You can't get the gun back in the game--which is something that really, really frustrated players at the time. The mention in Star*Soldier was meant as a little nod to everyone, letting us know he did get the gun back eventually...
