WC Villain Profile

What's there you need to know? Thrakhath needs to be killed, full stop (he sounds a little like me. Can cope in harsh conditions, going beyond the call of duty, vengence) and Tolwyn is the Rogue Warrior of Wing Commander (almost worshipped by some, hated by others) who lost his humanity. But it's cool to hear all of these diffirent takes on these characters. Hell, I could probably become someone like Thrakhath or Colson. Now that's a scary thought.

War brings out the worst side of everybody; especially in Kilrathi;)

BTW speaking of villains: I think WCM is rather good, but it needed a real villain like Trakh.

Eh, making a hateable villain is easy. But they generally don't make good stories, because there's nothing to like about them. That's the basic difference between the Nephilim and the Kilrathi.

Some Kilrathi. In fact, aside from Thrakhath and the slave mines, I find them quite tolerable, and if I was to serve with Kilrathi, I wouldn't mind, especially after the war. But you're right. Look at Sephiroth from Final Fantasy and Fox Hound from Metal Gear. The general concensus is that Sephiroth is a cunt that you want to rip the spine out of. He is a bit like Colson in that he's a dumbass. I mean, 'The human race has become weak. I will make them pay for choosing to live the lives they live.' So what's your point, asshole? Fox Hound, on the other hand, had well rounded characters who, with the possible exception of Liquid, had their reasons for fighting. Not that I have any sympathy for terrorists, but these people at least have valid justification for their actions.

The villain would have been good to show WHY the movie cats were at war with confed. In the movie the two were at war just because the Kilrathi were evil. There was no other reason that explained the conflict.
A villain that is only evil is not good. a movie villain should show a personality.

What the hell's a kunt? I don't believe I've ever seen it spelled with a k. Even dictionary.com agrees:

cunt ( P ) Pronunciation Key (knt)
n. Vulgar Slang
1. The female genital organs.
2. Sexual intercourse with a woman.

3.
a. Offensive. Used as a disparaging term for a woman.
b. Used as a disparaging term for a person one dislikes or finds extremely disagreeable

Also, if you look at definition 3 b, you will see that it's perfectly acceptable to use when refering to anyone you find disagreeable. (edit: Acceptable, that is, in the usage of the term sense, not necessarily in the using on the Forum sense.)
