Video Card

I just want to know that not every new PC really has a AGP port. I have an P500 from a no-name company that has a tnt2m64 chip onboard and no AGP external port (my new P900 has a AGP port, however).

This depends much upon, whether you are buying a PC from a good company and if it is a cheap model. I'd guess that HP makes good PC's so they should have it onboard, however sometimes especially these companys who are selling their hardware more expensive are trying to cut hardware cost in order to have reasonable prices, and the AGP port could be the first thing to be cut away...
So the only way is to look inside your PC.

All Pcs have PCI slots, so that should not be any problem at all, but newer PCI graphiccards are harder to get

AGP is a new connection system that has been especially optimized for graphic transfer. It is generally a bit faster than PCI (I am no technician, so I cannot give you better details)

My HP better have an AGP, I don't think that guy will give me my money back if I can't connect it.

Chances are it has an AGP vid card. I dont know of any new machine on the shelves that actually have a PCI video card in it unless it specifies that it has one, and even then, the computer itself should have an AGP slot.

hey, I was wondering, If it turns out that I don't have AGP, and the guy I bought it from won't give me my money back, will somebody here trade me for a Voodoo 3 3000 PCI instead... all of my specs are the same, except mine is an AGP, and it has a TV out cord. I'm not saying I don't have one, I'm just not sur yet, my computer's interior is very cluttered.
