From what I remember, the hover tanks weren't much more than wedge shapes with guns, a bit of a let down after you've seen the ships...

Well you only see them in one or two missions so they couldnt have been expected to go through the trouble of creating complex designs. They didnt even bother to create a new model for the Lexington afterall and it was in something like ten missions.

How about a troops & non-ship section for the ships database or somewhere similar? I think that almost kinda makes sense.
