Heh... funny stuff. Makes sense though. Tactless, yet sensical on the CIC staff's part. :)

Anyway, I just had to say that I love the first letter... Death goes to all the trouble to say that they don't need to put up SWC ships, and LOAF comes along and basically says "Here you go!".

I find it interesting that at the end of the mailbag they ask us too send in letters so that they can make the mailbag, but the only letters they put in there are letters where they ridicule the person. Geez, I feel like righting one right now.
 
hehe... :) Someone should send them an email with fragmented english, ending in that ever infamous "All your CIC are belong to us!".
 
Or what if IRC is not the right program?
I read about it. It has problems with LAN-network,
is not full DSL-compatible and doesn't like firewalls. If they aren't right configurated.
So one problem may not be bad. But what to hell do I do if I have all 3?
lol nothing. Forgetting it. So please don't say everybody should use it. in some special cases it doesn't work. I configurated 3 days...I did everything. Nothing helped and before I get angry, I deinstalled...
 
Uhm... I have all three right now, and all three are working fine. In fact, I bet my firewall, etc., is set up worse than yours is. mIRC is incredibly adaptable, it can usually get around them.
 
Bob's letter convinced me that he's truly off his nut. :)

But I do find it a bit disappointing that the CIC staff included their comments on the WCDC. Now, I rarely go to the WCDC, so I suppose I have a bit of a bias, but whether the people there are deserving of insult or not, I don't think the inclusion in the mailbag was necessary. Just let them be. That way, people can truly respect the CIC and its staff for what they are.

Oh, the "college babyface" thing was quite amusing too. :)
 
I don't see the WCDC mentioned by us anywhere in the Mailbag. Comments in color are the staff's, the ones in white are the crazy German's.

Maybe I didn't configurate mIRC right. :)

Well, 'sides currently re-reading Action Stations I keep a dog-eared copy of Fleet Action in my car at all times for boring moments at work and I also recently finished William Manchester's biography on Douglas MacArthur and I pretty much read anything that passes into my eyesight.
