Just noticed something, this makes it sound as if the sole purpose for the Lexington's refitting was for Blair to use it as target practice. :)

I've never seen WC novels in French... unfortunately.
 
Mpanty— is french your first language? I mean, you seem proficient enough in english to not mind needing to read an english book... Especially something as simple as a WC novel:)
 
I'm fairly certain the movie novel was translated to French (and Spanish)... and that Pilgrim Stars *may* have been translated to French.
 
That's very much possible and likely, since I moved out of France not so long after the movie came out... <g>
But as far as I'm concerned, I've never seen any of the Baen Books novels in French, and to my knowledge, there aren't ay translations...
As opposed to Germany, where many novels have been translated (Mekt can provide a list, though I'm sure you don't really need it :) ).

My first language is Italian. As for the novels, I have read them in English! In fact, I've read them all except Action Stations and Pilgrim Stars... :) Wasn't easy to get them though: two I bought from a bookstore in Canada, The Price of Freedom and False Colors. Another five I was lucky enough to snatch from a grouped auction on eBay, for only $25.00 (including End Run !! :) ), and I recently aquired my last Baen novel (Action Stations) from eBay again...
