I noticed that picture of Paladin on the front page. That for real? It looks so different. It's wild, man, very cool.

'Sides from characters and ships, how else is SWC different from the regular version I'm used to?
 
For one thing, it WORKS every time You put it in ;) ... EMM386? Just blow on the contact and it'll clear up... How much is an SNES nowadays?
 
that's doesn't look like a SNES game from the pics. I remember playing WC on SNES a long time ago before i knew what it was or what I was doing (I rented it). I couldn't even make it to the first nav point :eek:. My first "official" excapade into the WC universe was Prophecy in my head though ;)
 
Swc is a mac and 3do version. The super nintendo had a version of wing commander which was like the pc one, but with a really bad frame rate.
 
i can run my afterburners for 50 years and that gratha will still be 3000meters away . snes version is evil :(

if anyone needs it ive got a WC snes rom, so maybe that could be used?

i remember the kurasawa mission where you escort the ralari, the grathas would always be out of my range, and they'd shoot the ralari, and id afterburn past the ralari, and they still wouldnt get in range! curse that game!
 
When was SWC for mac released?
What kind of mac system is needed to play it?
Are graphics better than (and gameplay at least as good as) WC1 on PC so that it's worth to try to get an appropriate mac system and SWC? Are more WC titles (or other great games) available for mac?
